Your Appointment
Dr Katherine Masselos
When you see Dr Masselos, here's what to expect on the day.
Please bring the following:
- A current referral from a doctor or optometrist
- Your distance and reading glasses
- Any MRIs, CTs or results of other investigations
- List of your current medications
- Your Medicare card
- Your private health insurance card (if applicable)
Your appointment time is the time that you will be checked into the clinic.
- An orthoptist will then see you and take a medical and ocular history. They will check your vision and intraocular pressure. They may then perform further tests as required based on your ocular condition.
Most patients will require pupillary dilation which will blur your vision for a few hours after the consultation
It is recommended not to drive to your appointment and it may be difficult to return to work following your appointment.
Dr Masselos will then perform a detailed examination of your eyes and review your results.
- Please allow at least 2 hours for your appointment.
